Heritage Potomac is being developed by
In the community planning process conducted by the county where residents desires were expressed and codified into a plan called the 2002 Potomac Subregion Master Plan, the community expressed its wish and need to bring 750 new senior units to the Potomac subregion by 2020. Over the last two decades, only 115 units have been constructed to meet that need. Residents, real estate agents, and community leaders continue to point out this need and shortfall in caring for Potomac seniors. Heritage Potomac helps to address this shortfall of options for seniors. It will be the first senior care community with independent living options for seniors since the master plan was adopted.
New homes, designed in the Old World estate home architectural aesthetic, will feature elevators, bright and open spaces, owner’s suites on the main level, optional screened porches, and two secondary bedrooms for in-home caregivers, or out-of-town visiting family.
Imagine a place where everyone knows your name, where caring staff are always ready to welcome you or assist in any way, where familiar Potomac faces abound, where there’s always something to do through scheduled weekly events and activities, where walking trails and sidewalks lead to manicured parks with neighbors gathering along park benches to converse, and where daily dining services provide outstanding culinary options for you to enjoy. This is Heritage Potomac – the way we all want to live in our senior years – well connected, close to family, in our home town.
100% of the land sale proceeds will go to a local charitable foundation.
17 Potomac Estate Cottages each with 2 to 3 independent living residences, the Heritage Lodge with independent, assisted, and memory care living options, and the Heritage Fitness Center (an adaptive reuse of the former school gymnasium)
